‘Art Education in the U.K.’

Lucy gave a presentation as part of the Cultural Artist Exchange in Moscow, exploring art education in the UK and sharing her experience as both a practising artist and educator.

The presentation focused on approaches to creative learning, the importance of encouraging artistic expression and the role of art education in developing creativity and confidence.

Guest Artist — NEOM Project

Lucy was invited to Saudi Arabia as a guest artist for the prestigious NEOM project, where she delivered an engaging art experience for invited guests.

Through live painting and creative interaction, Lucy brought art and creativity to the event, engaging guests as part of this unique international experience.

Capturing the Bavarian Landscape in Watercolour

Lucy was invited to lead a special watercolour session for guests attending the Toyota Awards event at Schloss Elmau.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bavarian Alps, guests were invited to capture the stunning surrounding landscape in watercolour, with Lucy guiding and encouraging them throughout the creative experience.

The Hurlingham Club, London, 2022 to Present

Painting and Mixed Media Courses

Since 2022, Lucy has taught annual painting and mixed media courses at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in London.

Her courses encourage participants to explore a range of artistic techniques and materials, develop their individual style and build confidence in their own creative expression.

International Art Tutor & Artist in Residence

Since 2015, Lucy has worked regularly, often several times a year, as an Art Tutor and Artist in Residence aboard leading cruise lines, delivering watercolour and drawing classes while travelling to destinations around the world.

Her sessions welcome all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced artists, encouraging creativity, confidence and individual expression in a relaxed and engaging environment.
